"It was an absolute revelation to me that my body was doing that. I didn't even know that my body could do it."
From the age of 12, Vanessa never had a regular cycle, and at 19 she was diagnosed with Polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS).
She spent most of her 20's filled with fear and very little hope of being able to feel better or be able to achieve a pregnancy without the assistance of fertility help.
Today at the age of 34, she has no sign of PCOS, and is now 17 weeks pregnant with her first child!
On the podcast Vanessa:
"The journey that we engaged in together was so much more than weight loss."
I was lucky enough to walk beside Ness on her health journey for about 6 months of last year.
"For the first time in my life I started to have some hope that this could address my PCOS."
Vanessa mentions Lily Nichols. You can find her here:
I also talked to Lily on my podcast, episode 19.
